Maze Therapeutics interview questions

Spoke directly to the hiring manager (GC) with no precursor interviews with HR. Didn't get the position but the GC is great - took the time to answer my questions and was candid. Good process and I really appreciated getting to speak to her directly.

The whole interview process was ridiculous and unprofessional. In the initial phone screening, one person called me TWO MINUTES before the scheduled time to reschedule the call for ANOTHER interviewer. On the day of the rescheduled call, after waiting for 30 mins and sending a follow-up email with no response, I was finally able to talk to the second person who came with no explanation but a lot of street noise. Then, during the interview with the hiring manager, he was very rude and repeatedly probed for sensitive business information about my current company. Also, he wanted to know every detail of your work, your gap months, or I can say, your whole life, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I couldn't help to question the purpose of this super loooong interview, since it was only exchanged for a boilerplate rejection letter from a NO-REPLY email address.
