I had posted my resume on a career website and McMaster Carr contacted me. After the initial phone interview I was requested to come in for a 1:1 interview. The 1:1 interview was done with 4 separate people one after the other. I had a tour of the facility and the layout of the office.
The position was supposed to be a rotating position moving from department to department every 2 years. But, in the interview the interviewers were vague about this. Apparently, they look for highly skilled workers with college degrees and work experience to fill roles in customer service. I was offered the position to start in customer service.
