Interview
Had an informal interview after being contacted post-application. It seemed to go fine, but they completely ghosted me afterward. Follow-ups were ignored. Not even a basic rejection message received. Disappointing.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Media Molecule (Guildford, England) in May 2022
Interview
Applied through role via my current workplace. First spoke to HR who were very nice. I was then told that they were considering me for another role as my experience wasn't a direct match for the role I'd applied for. I had an interview scheduled to meet with the hiring manager but they didn't show. I contacted HR and was given the excuse that they were too busy to join the call. They rescheduled and I spoke to the HM a few days later. They were clearly not interested in speaking with me and cut the call short. The response was they would look into another possible role which never materialised. I was then asked if I wanted to discuss again and I declined due to how I had been treated up to that point. From the contact I had I had the impression of a very toxic workplace, with employees who clearly don't know how to treat people. Avoid.

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Media Molecule in Jan 2020
Interview
I applied for the position and I was contacted after 4 months. They asked me to complete a programming test before even knowing for what kind of role they were considering me for. I only knew that after the test they were two interviews because I asked. The test consisted of two parts; theoretical and practical. It could be completed in 4-8h and although it was pretty easy, the practical part was horrible due to the lack of indications on what they wanted.
After I sent the test, I was contacted in a week telling me that they had too many successful candidates and decided not to proceed with my application. They didn’t even care to take a look at my test and I couldn’t get any feedback because they contacted me from a no-reply email address. It is really rude asking someone to work for you and then not caring to take a look at their work. HR should really consider the treatment they give to candidates.
