I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Medline Industries (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2014
Interview
Had an on campus interview then one day with some other sales reps at their Chicago office. They basically wanted to just get to know you. It was very similar to other full-time interviews I had. Some of the email contacts took awhile to respond.
I applied online. I interviewed at Medline Industries
Interview
Went through multi-layered interviews, full product knowledge, and documented years of relationship building. Boilerplate rejection email. "At this time, we are not moving forward in the process as there are other candidates who more closely align with the needs of the team". Medline is still recruiting for the job XX months later. I guess I wasn't young enough.
3-4 rounds of interviews first with recruiter, then direct manager, regional manager and finally the VP. It can be lengthy as they need time to collaborate with one another and it doesn’t seem like a major priority.
Entretien passé dans la cafétéria d’une station essence sur une aire d’autoroute! Peu professionnel et non respect de la confidentialité. Le manager pose des questions discriminantes telles que: âge, situation familiale, âge des enfants.
