Detailed process with 3-4 steps beginning with recruiter. Then to the hiring manager and progresses to a panel interview with senior leadership. Last interview step is with most senior leader over the division.
- How do you create buy in when there is push back on an initiative?

You will first interview with a supervisor concerning the basics of the job. If they like you, then you will then interview with a warehouse manager or director of operations who will then either offer you the job or say they will call you which means you didn’t get the job.
- Name a time you had a challenge or conflict with a coworker and how did you overcome it.

The interview process went on smoothly, I even completed the final round. However when I followed up with the HR, he mentioned that I am still in consideration and I should receive a feedback in a week. After 10 days, I did follow up again but was ghosted. I think it is a basic courtesy to inform the candidates regarding the result specially when they have cleared so many rounds to reach the final round. I believe this basic lack of etiquette speaks volumes regarding the culture of the company.
- Tell an example from your past experience when you had taken initiative to improve a process.

Three interviews, one super day. Was asked a standard case question about selling specific medical equipment followed by a Q&A with the other students interviewed that day. The interviewers were all very nice.
- Why should we hire you?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Columbia, SC
I interviewed at Medline Industries (Columbia, SC) in May 2023
I had a really good feeling about this role. I was messaged directly by a Medline recruiter through LinkedIn about this position, as they felt I could be a great candidate for this role. Soon after I had a phone screen with the recruiter and then a timed excel test and I passed both. Then the next day I spoke with the hiring team and it was a great interview. The team was communicative and friendly. The recruiter messaged me before the end of the week and said the teams's feedback on me was positive and that I would hear back about a decision and next steps next week. The next week, I got a rejection email...I feel like they were wasting my time as I was qualified for this role and excelled at each step of the hiring process.
- How do you develop relationships with customers
- Walk me through your resume

Interviewed with 6 people, 1 of them interviewed with twice. Lots of scenario questions, sometimes asked the same question by multiple people. Did 4 online interviews, then invited to come into the office for a tour plus 3 more interviews.
- Think of a time when you were not able to make a deadline.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Oregon City, OR
I applied online. I interviewed at Medline Industries (Oregon City, OR)
The process was fast and easy. The interview was not difficult. The hiring manager was certainly inexperienced and unprepared for the interview. I did not get selected because there was another candidate ahead of me in the process. It is interesting how timing makes an impact on the candidate selection, not experience (from a competitor that uses the same business model), not track record, or education, but timing. I also felt that this manager would likely prefer someone younger and less experienced.
- Please tell me about yourself.

Easy phone interview then one in person. They ask some of the questions that most jobs ask. Not as stressful as some of the interviews can be at large companies.
