I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Medtronic (Louisville, CO) in Oct 2022
Interview
I was referred to the test automation department by another hiring manager at Medtronic. First interview was a virtual conversation with the department manager, discussing interests and the department. Second interview was 3 on 1 with two of the project leads and the department manager. Prior to this interview I was given a website and tasked with designing a test automation plan and implementing it into the Cypress framework. Interview revolved around me explaining my test cases and what my plan was.

Question 1
How would you optimize testing the calculator functionality of the website
Interview process moved pretty quickly. I applied around a holiday, but was contacted by HR within a week to set up a phone screen, then was scheduled with the hiring manager, and the following week with a peer. Overall interviews were done within a few weeks of applying.
Probably the worst process any company has ever put me through. I had a recruiter screen, hiring manager screen, district manager screen, engineer screen, technical quiz which required over 30 hours of studying, and then a 45 minute long final presentation which took over a week of preparation only to be given a generic rejection telling me they went with someone else and would keep my information on file and refer me to their other positions as they open up. Never again will I let a company waste my time like Medtronic did and give me the absolute disrespect of a generic rejection after the amount of effort I put in. Six interviews has to be a joke and they were just testing if I was enough of a fool to keep showing up.
Entretien téléphonique RH, je suis en attente d’un second entretien avec les membres de l’équipe. Je suis ouverte à tout conseil pour mieux me préparer espérant que ça va bien se passer .
