Had an in-person interview with the hiring manager, then a virtual panel interview. It was clear from the very beginning that they had someone in mind for the role, and even asked me how I would handle getting the role over someone internally who was also interviewing for the role, and how I'd make working with them go smoothly. I'm a professional, but this was the worst interview I've ever had. Multiple gotcha questions, and any time I answered a question with my experience, they downplayed my experience saying that this was a hard sales job, as if I'm not already currently selling medical devices in an equally if not more difficult market. Also the guy asking these questions wasn't even the boss, he was a fellow Territory Manager. The whole thing was bogus.

The Interview has a few steps: 1. Call from Medtronic recruiter (if you applied directly) 2. First round interview (Situational questions) 3. Psychometric test 4. Second round role play or business case
