I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meijer (Grand Rapids, MI)
Interview
It was fairly fast and had a lot of fun mostly just chatting with the employer. It is pretty easy to be employed by Meijer. If you show confidence and passion you might even get hired for a better position which is what happened in my situation. One thing, I did kind of start worrying a bit because they said background check would take 3 days but had to wait 2 weeks.

Interview
It was very simple. Easy process. I started b4 they opened it was fantastic to to go in was cool. Learned alot while i was there. Though the lead were lazy. I had one who was everything. She made sure her job was done b4 she left.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meijer (Portage, MI) in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied for the job online and received a call back regarding my application. Originally I applied for every position available and the store only prints one app to review, I was offered to be interviewed for Electronics instead.
I was first interviewed for the person I would be working for, following by the Lines Leader for that area (in this case she was a GM Lines Leader), then I was interviewed by the Store Director of the store. This can vary depending on circumstances and who is available.
The Store Director then had me fill in information for my background check. That process alone was at least a week.
It wasn't made clear to me that if my background check cleared that I would be hired. I had to follow up and find that out myself, but if they have you do a background check they intent on hiring you.
