Interview
I applied through a career building site for a position with Meijer. After my initial application I was contacted about a week later by phone to come into the store for an interview. I went in and was promptly greeted and commenced my interview with the leader of the department I applied for and the store director. I would say hands down this was a very insightful and professional interview. It made me even more eager to be a part of the team.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Meijer (Canton, MI) in Mar 2019
Interview
I applied for a few leadership positions at Meijer at multiple locations, a couple days later, a regional recruiter contacted me to ask a few screening questions. Then, she set me up to interview with a store director. A day after my interview, a different store director contacted me to ask if I would be interested in a Grocery Team Leader position at his store. I met with him, and was hired about a week later. I had to move across the state to accept the job, they were very patient with me while I made necessary arrangements.
