      Systems Engineering Enablement Lead Interview

      Aug 21, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Meraki (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2017

      Interview

Onsite Interview from 9:30 AM to 2 PM. One interview after another without any breaks with 5 people. No breaks in the middle. No lunch break. Imagine sitting in a room for about 5 hours and interview ending at 2 PM without a lunch break. I was so hungry and was expecting that there would be lunch break at least if not a served lunch. Not a good experience at all. The interview from 11-12 PM was with a remote person on the Cisco Telepresence (TP) room. The TP unit stopped working right after the call started, so they moved me into another room with another TP unit which had the same issue, so we wasted about 20 minutes or so going in between the rooms. I ended up opening up a webbed session on my laptop to start the interview. The last person interviewing who was a director came at 1:25 instead of 1 and I had to keep waiting in the interview room. No one mentioned to me saying that he is running late. Very unprofessional attitude.
