I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied for a different role and was informed by the recruiter that I was consider for a senior position. I went with the experience but wasn't happy about skipping which product I like to work on. It all happened quick and I appreciate the recruitment team for the coordination.
After the initial screening, there was a phone interview with the hiring manager and then onsite. There was 5 rounds onsite and the materials weren't helpful to understand what is expected.
Since the onsite there was a continuous followup to know the results and after 3 weeks or so the recruiter drops a note for a quick call confirm I didn't get through.
No feedback shared on what should have been done better.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
Was a straightforward process — basic questions about myself, my interest in Facebook, my understanding of the role. I got through to the second round. The first was with just the team lead. The second was divided into two parts — one with another team member, and the other with someone who has a similar role on another team.
