I track whoever visits my portfolio website. During the time after the HR speak with me on the phone to getting that rejection email, I had zero visit traffic from Facebook. This is a big red flag for any designer who is serious about their career. We are pursing designer career, not other professions that solely rely on lip service and writing reports. Designer produces work that can be viewed in human eyes. Designer's skill should heavily be judged on design work. The hiring team apparently has other things in mind, or just doesn't have a good hiring practice in their system. Or maybe doing a good lip service and other skills are what they look for when hiring a designer. No wonder Facebook is going to downhill. They didn't spend one second to view my work and just let the HR send over the rejection email.
