I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Micron Technology (Singapore) in Feb 2015
Interview
Apply at my college career fair. Micron conducted mass interview. It lasted for a whole day. They provide with breakfast and lunch. There are 3 rounds in total. Interview with engineer, manager and lastly director (FAB10). No technical questions. Need to do a simple logical test.
Firstly, the interview with the engineer is very causal. It is more like a "get to know session". He asked questions based on what I wrote in my resume. Talked about my interest, my CCA involvement and past job experiences.
Secondly, things start to get serious. The manager was kind enough to wait for me to finish my lunch when it was my turn to be interviewed. He explained in detail about the job prospects, working hours, career advancement opportunities and very concern about my interest. He asked about my FYP both from poly and uni in detailed. Managerial questions are also asked.
Lastly, with FAB10 director. An extremely friendly guy, never fail to smile. He is more interested about my personality values than my technical capabilities. He asked very basic interview questions which I've expected to be asked during the 1st round. He listens to me and maintain eye contact which is very comforting.Personally, I think he is more concern to promote a positive working environment. It lasted about 25mins.
Got offered on the same day. The HR department was very kind. Overall positive experience. Pay and allowances was comparable to other companies. The only down side is shift work.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Micron Technology (Gujrāt)
Interview
The Interview Process was fairly straightforward. 2 tech rounds, both with moderate difficulty. The issue was HR communications. No sort of effort to revert or update the candidate, only to receive an update 2 months later.

Question 1
What is lean Manufacturing and how is it different from TOC
Interviewers came in 15 minutes late and did not even acknowledge they were late, just proceeded to take a seat and introduced briefly the team. Panel of 4 interviewers, 2 hiring managers and 2 team members. Interview proceeded with the team members taking turns to ask questions about personality and conflict resolution, not much technical questions. Throughout the interview, one of the hiring manager was on his phone the entire time and did not seem interested in the process other than the occasional nod while the other manager just asked some questions. The team members were helpful in explaining the job scope and environment. Overall a very unprofessional way of conducting an interview.
