Interview
This was the strangest and possibly the rudest interview I have had. I applied online and the company representative was quick to respond to it and set up a initial phone call interview. The call started off smoothly and the lady on the other end was impressed with my answers and prior work experience. After talking for around 20 minutes, I was asked my expected remuneration. After hearing my expectation, the phone call was disconnected. And that evening I get a mail saying my experience does not seem to be a good match for their requirements.
I can understand if my expectation was higher than their budget for that role but this was no way to interact with a potential candidate. Almost find it comical that it went from we are impressed with your profile to you do not seem to fit our profile in less than a day without me having answered any technical question.

Interview
I had a phone interview. They asked questions pertaining to .NET development. They specifically asked about ASP.NET topics like session state, view state, & HTTP handlers. They asked questions pertaining to programming like what is polymorphism, inheritance, etc. They asked questions about SQL. My advice to future interviewers is to be honest in your application process about what you can do / what you know about.
