Make sure to describe why you want to work here, as employees want to know why Moelis, as opposed to other Elite Boutiques or bulge brackets. Pitch the generalist analyst program and ability to work on restructuring transactions as well

Very technical and cold. The associate who interviewed me was very focused on market knowledge and drilling down into specific technical. Less focus on behavioral. Be prepared, it starts right from the first round.

Question 1
EBITDA calc related. What is the current price of S&P 500?
15 minute phone call intro with HR going through mostly fit questions. Then followed by interview with associate with technical and experience questions thrown. This lasted 30 mins followed by interview with VP
They had 1st round technical interviews then invited for a super day. It was pretty standard for IB recruiting and was in office. It was great to be able to go in and meet the team.
