Full stack developer role. External recruiter sent me this role.
I somehow skipped any phone screen and went straight to a take home test for a frontend task. Large focus on accessibility, semantic html, responsiveness and UI testing. Took me a couple of days to do, and sent it off. Was told i would get feedback. Weeks later, still no feedback. Unfortunate waste of time.

Question 1
- Fetch items from API. Display in a responsive grid. Click on item to view more details. some bonus features. You can find the test on their public github.
Big focus on UI tests, doing things the 'proper' way.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Moonpig (Manchester, England) in Aug 2020
Interview
Interview process took over a month from start to finish
There was an initial screening call then a call with a manager.
From here there was a simple tech test to be completed in my own time and sent back.
From here feedback between stages took longer and required me having to email to ask for feedback in a few cases.
Next stages were:
Team Interview
Pairing task - Simple TDD based task implementing some NodeJs express endpoints with someone else driving
Technical Interview - described as an informal chat but was in reality more of a deep delving technical interview with some vague questions requiring specific answers
Manager Interview
I felt that the feedback I recieved was innacurate and vague, it mentioned lines of questioning that did not happen in any of the sessions.

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Moonpig in Jul 2018
Interview
Phone interview with HR rep
Phone interview with team lead
Take home assignment
F2F interview
Final interview with dept manager (Video call)
Very nice people and very good interview process (probably the last step was a bit redundant). I was asked sensible questions, and I received good answers for the questions I asked.
During the interview process (which took longer than expected due to holidays), the situation with my employer changed, so I decided not to accept their (very good) offer.
