I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (New York, NY) in Jan 2015
Interview
pretty good interview, three people total 1.5 hrs for the final round. Usually questions on the resume follow by a couples of brainteaser and option puzzles. People were very kind and patient. if you dont know the questions they asked, make sure to ask them, they will give you hints and guide you to there. the most important thing they want to know is the way you think
It took about 30 minutes, they asked about my education and mostly about technical things. Both in finance and about SQL, excel, VBA and how i would solve specific problames.
it was a good ecperience, the interviewer was nice. the call lasted maybe 35mins or so. they asked both behavioral and tech questions. overall, a ver average interview for an investment bank
Went through resume in depth, Look at the coursework which i had done, and then zoned in on only one probability / stochastic processes course that i had taken and asked me very much in depth questions
