I got the invitation to do the Pre-recorded interview. The interview link expires in 7 days. The HR said that there will be 3 questions and I will have 30 seconds before they automatically start recording my answer; however, you actually only get 5 seconds so you don't really get that much time to think for your answer (which I was expecting I would have). The good thing is that you get 3 tries so you can use the 1st try as prep time but since it wasn't made clear, I definitely struggled in the first question. However, I literally got rejected in less than 24 hours even though my responses weren't half bad despite the 5 seconds surprise so I have no idea really what I did wrong or what they expected

Question 1
Why should Morningstar hire you? Why do you want to work in Morningstar? How do you raise bar for yourself and others
I applied online. I interviewed at Morningstar (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Applied online. Recruiter invited to interview with three members. Very unprofessionally, they changed the interview date and time like three times because the interviewers weren't available.
At the interview, re-scheduled for the third time, still one of the interviewers could not make it. I spoke with two people with ZERO technical background, and explained to them optimization techniques and they said they learned a ton. They had no way of challenging me in any way.
I then received an automatic response from the system I have been rejected. I never saw a group of people with as little clue as them.
