Was scheduled for an interview, on day of the interview I received a short email explaining they’d filled the position (fine, not a big deal) however my issue is the lack of respect for other peoples time and effort.
The email wasn’t very apologetic despite me clearing my schedule to make time for this interview which means I’ve now lost out on money because of them not letting me know in a timely manner. I got the email during the time they were supposed to actually be calling me for said interview which is extremely unprofessional.
If you can’t call or send a potential employee a polite email to let them know in a timely manner, imagine what state the company is in? Not respecting other peoples time is a huge red flag for bad work environment.
