Was scheduled for an interview, on day of the interview I received a short email explaining they’d filled the position (fine, not a big deal) however my issue is the lack of respect for other peoples time and effort. The email wasn’t very apologetic despite me clearing my schedule to make time for this interview which means I’ve now lost out on money because of them not letting me know in a timely manner. I got the email during the time they were supposed to actually be calling me for said interview which is extremely unprofessional. If you can’t call or send a potential employee a polite email to let them know in a timely manner, imagine what state the company is in? Not respecting other peoples time is a huge red flag for bad work environment.

Not hard, first phone screening then in person interview. Told me to wear all black and wear my favorite makeup look. The people that interviewed me were nice and just asked me basic questions.

I first completed the online application, followed by a phone interview, a makeup test, then a final in person interview with the store manager. The phone interview was about 30 minutes long, makeup test was 30 minutes long as well.
