Long but worth it. Orientation taught everything I needed to know, and training was provided. Overall it was a great volunteer experience! Enjoyed working with the patients and transporting them to different floors

I emailed the Director of Volunteering Services. It took about a week get a response. When I arrived for my interview, I was instructed to fill out forms. The questions it asked was why I wanted to volunteer, previous volunteering experiences, and my experience under supervision. I met with the Director of volunteer services. She was very nice and welcoming. She asked me a few questions about my background and if I was able to commit the minimum time commitment of 6 months. That seemed to be her main concern because some volunteers left when they found a job. It will take a week to find out if I am selected.
