**Worst interview experience of my career.**
The process started with HR informing me there would be **5 rounds** — 4 technical + 1 managerial.
The first round was a virtual coding interview where I solved a LeetCode medium problem (Anagram) and answered questions on Rails internals and JWT.
I then cleared **3 consecutive in-person rounds** at their office, spanning over **4+ hours**, covering both **high-level and low-level design discussions** with Senior Engineers and an Engineering Manager.
After successfully completing all of these, I was informed there would be a final **techno-managerial round with the VP of Engineering**.
That’s where things completely broke down.
The interview was initially scheduled for the first week of March, but it kept getting postponed repeatedly with reasons like product releases and leadership availability. I followed up multiple times via email and calls. Initially, there were responses — but eventually:
* My calls were blocked
* Emails stopped getting responses
* No update, no closure, no accountability
This level of communication is not just disappointing — it’s **deeply unprofessional and disrespectful of a candidate’s time and effort**.
Spending hours preparing, attending multiple rounds, and investing energy into the process — only to be ghosted — reflects very poorly on the company’s hiring culture.
I would **strongly advise candidates to think twice** before engaging in such a process unless they are prepared for **uncertainty, lack of transparency, and poor candidate experience**.
