I applied online. I interviewed at MyRepublic (Singapore) in Apr 2026
Interview
I think this was one of the worst interview experiences I’ve ever had. There was no follow up at all for 5 to 6 weeks regarding whether I would proceed to the second round, which I found quite strange.
What made it even more confusing was that the interviewer (HRBP) spent most of the time explaining the role, and throughout the entire interview, I probably only spoke for less than 10 minutes. In the end, she mentioned that she felt the job would not be suitable for me and that I might find the role boring and will not stay long.
Honestly, I’m not quite sure what to make of this interview experience. If someone can decide within less than 30 minutes whether a candidate is likely to stay long-term in the role, then it feels like both parties’ time was wasted from the start. It gave me the impression that they were not genuinely keen on hiring for the position at all.
Not fair/ open interview process.
discriminative as per the interview process by senior management. should be quite straightforward while screening by HR instead of dragging to 3 rounds of interviews.
The interview process was exceptionally well-organized and flowed smoothly from start to finish. The interviewers posed thoughtful and relevant questions, creating a comfortable and engaging atmosphere. They were not only reasonable in their expectations but also supportive, encouraging me to take my time and feel free to make multiple attempts in responding. This approach fostered a positive and constructive environment, making the entire experience quite pleasant and encouraging.
