I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NASA (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2013
Interview
They came to my school's Career Fair. I stopped by their booth and dropped off my resume. The representatives were very friendly. I was called back a day later for an interview on campus. There was a panel for my interview. Two engineering majors and one HR representative all working at Johnson Space Center. The interview lasted about an hour.

Question 1
Pathways is NASA's co-op program. So they expect young college students (2nd or 3rd years) to train and develop them. That being said the interview is behavioral instead of technical. Most questions center around your personality. There are few case based questions of how you perform in team settings as well.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NASA (Edwards AFB, CA) in Apr 2024
Interview
Interview length was 1 hour, consisting of around 15 interview questions which were mostly of behavioral questions and based on my past experience, posing scenarios and asking how I reacted.

Question 1
How do you manage your time? Talk about a stressful situation?
Just two behavioral interviews one with an individual member and then a group interview where multiple team members are asking you questions. They are pretty standard behaviorals and they may throw in a couple of brain teasers.

Question 1
- Walk me through your resume - Biggest challenge you overcame - What are your weaknesses
Smooth interview process but also very long. Questions were mostly about yourself and your past experiences. Training session given by NASA for this interview helps. Lot of competition for the Pathways positions.
