The emphasis was clearly on vendor-specific knowledge rather than underlying networking principles.

I was asked to come for an interview for the role as a network security engineer but they asked me if I could see myself doing Network Routing and Switching, just a side note , if someone with 10+ years of experience comes over for an interview and worked for the biggest companies in the world, dont treat them like they are little kids.
