I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at National Grid (Brooklyn, NY) in Sep 2010
Interview
The interview was all behavioral. It wasnt difficult at all if you know how to expand on your resume, speak about all of your experiences. Couple of questions asked: Why you chose the university you attend, what do you know about the national grid, why did you choose your major and what are your goals for your career.

Question 1
Tell me something you know about the National Grid
They make you play IQ test brainrot games where you need to remember letters, like Simon Says. Next, they make you do a zoom interview where they ask questions emphasizing their values. The interview process felt a little humiliating and corny to me. I also believe that they were a little late for my interview, which made me feel disrespected.

Question 1
How do you deal with unresponsiveness from a client?
I applied online. I interviewed at National Grid (Brooklyn, NY) in Mar 2026
Interview
After the initial application, you move forward to a hirevue round. After that is the interview. The Hirevue is a little hard because you aren't talking to anyone. The games are pretty easy, no need to stress about them.

Question 1
Who is someone that you have built a strong connection with
I truly disliked the interview process here. It was an automated response process, where you are asked to respond to prompts through videos. It felt very impersonal, and was unlike any other interview I've done before because you are not actually in a conversation.
