I reached the final in person interview. The process was well organised and professional and I felt the round went positively from my side. Unfortunately I received a rejection via automated email with no feedback provided even after I politely followed up requesting it. While rejection is part of the process and completely acceptable I believe candidates who reach the final stage deserve at least a short and respectful explanation. Even a brief note would help the applicant understand what to improve on.
To the HR team,
I understand you have a heavy workload and tight timelines but offering feedback especially to final round candidates shows respect and support career growth. Please consider making this part of your process.
