Principal Engineer, CCoE at Neiman Marcus Applied for the position and after a full month I was finally contacted for a brief phone screen. The phone screen went well and I was scheduled the next week to have a a panel interview with the hiring leader and his two senior devops personnel. I showed up to the zoom call 5 minutes early to find everyone waiting for me. At that moment I realized I was one in a series of back-to-back cattle-call interviews for the position. The leader in the call maybe asked two questions. One of the techs accepted questions but clearly wasn't interested. At the end of the call I felt very unwelcome by two-thirds of the group and wondered why I was even there since my skills the core skills they were looking for didn't align with me. I was completely ghosted and after a month of trying to get feedback I gave up. I never want to work at Neiman Marcus and never want to associate with anyone who does. Horrible experience.
