Disappointing Experience – Proceed with Caution I applied online and was contacted by the hiring manager a few days later. We had a discussion about how my experience aligns with the role. Following that, I interviewed with the VP of Chemistry. The hiring manager then requested that I prepare a slide deck and present it to him. He seemed to really like my presentation and even asked me to share my slides so he could provide feedback in preparation for a panel interview. However, after I sent my slides, all communication stopped. Despite following up, I received no response. Three weeks later, I got a system-generated rejection email. The entire process felt misleading as if they were more interested in stealing ideas and learning my research work rather than genuinely considering me for the role. If you are applying, I recommend exercising caution when sharing your work.

I applied after finding the open position on LinkedIn. They reached out to me to schedule a call. The company did not call at the scheduled time and have yet to answer any of my emails. Overall, an incredibly disrespectful experience.
