Interview
3 interviews with Architects/Program Manager. Interviews with Architects were technical in nature and interview with Program Manager was around organizational processes. The interviews were conversational and very pleasant. Because of Covid, all interviews were conducted over Zoom.

Question 1
Discussion on techniques (including pros and cons) to accelerate the data path from virtual machines such as SR-IOV, DPDK etc.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Netskope (Bengaluru) in Apr 2024
Interview
1st HR screening round where you will be asked why you want to change, why Netskope, what you have been doing etc.
Next round was scheduled within 2 days. Following 3rd technical round was scheduled was scheduled on the same day evening after clearing the previous round.
Followed up after about a week and was told I have cleared all the rounds so far and soon next rounds will be scheduled. After waiting for almost a month, I was told resource audit going on and hirings were frozen.
After about two months, positions were reopened but got internal news that they had already hired someone.
Question for Netskope and the recruiters, why did you waste the candidate's 2 months time? How ethical is it to hire someone while there were shortlisted contenders who cleared the rounds and were told by the recruiter that they will reach out once position reopens?
And as a HR recruiter, please can you be more transparent and responsible in responding to candidates? I have literally lost count how many times I had called/ mailed the recruiter to followup!!

Question 1
1st technical/ strategy round was slightly challenging where my profile was verified against the JD. few marketing and strategic questions were asked about GTM, discounts, ideation, marketing, customer interview research, etc.
3rd round was purely technical where my domain knowledge was verified. Use cases and scenarios were given and was asked to solve them. Questions asked about writing EPIC, user story, PRD structure and content.

Very streamlined interview process. I applied through Linkedin and was contacted by recruiter Steve Dyson within a week. There were three rounds. Interview questions were very specific around the role. All interviewers were very experienced and asked relevant questions. They took the time to answer my queries that helped me better understand the role and culture of the company. Steve is wonderful. He kept me in the loop and promptly responded to all my queries. Overall a very pleasant experience.
