Disappointed — twice now — with New Balance’s recruitment process.
After completing interviews, both times there was zero follow-up. No call, no courtesy email, nothing. For a global brand, this level of candidate communication is well below expectation.
Recruitment isn’t just about filling roles — it’s about representing the company’s values and treating people with basic respect. When candidates invest time preparing, attending interviews, and engaging with your process, the least they deserve is a simple “yes” or “no.”
It’s frustrating to see such a well-established company allow poor candidate care to undermine its reputation. One bad recruitment experience can turn people off a brand completely — and in my case, two have done exactly that.
