Interview
A recruiter from the company called me and she seemed very rushed. She set up two interviews via their hiring platform that was remotely on-camera. The first interview was a technical interview and she set up the 2nd interview for the behavioral portion the next day. I'm currently employed and took time off work for both these interviews. For the technical potion, the interviewer was 15-minutes late and their software platform sound was not working, so we went to a Zoom call. The interview went over an hour and I thought it went really well, however, I'm on my work computer and I have a project running on my other screen, and as I was explaining something to him, he flipped out that I was looking at another screen, so I explained it to him and then just remained focused on him with the camera. It was so strange. The interview ended and he said I have the behavioral interview the next day and after that all should be good. The next day, the interview link was broken and I spent time talking to their tech support only to find out after 15-minutes that I need to call the recruiter who was supposed to call me. When I called her, she had me on speaker phone and sounded like she was at a party and was fumbling around only to tell me that the interviewer thought I was struggling and was lip-syncing and being coached by someone. LIP-SYNCING. I looked at the other reviews today and saw that they pay horribly and employees are just a number at Nexient. I think I dodged a bullet and glad things went the way they did.
