I applied online. I interviewed at Noom in Oct 2020
Interview
I applied initially last year. I went straight to the mock interview but failed miserably. Part of this was I literally broke my wrist minutes prior to the interview, and my mind was elsewhere. I decided to apply back in October for another try. This time I did the timed 20 minute exercise, and uploaded a one minute video giving them what I thought the two most important qualities a Noom Coach should have (I said empathy and listening). Then I moved onto a mock interview. As others stated this is challenging, but stick to motivational interviewing and you should do great. After that I met for a Zoom interview with an actual person. This was fantastic, and lasted about 35 minutes. She asked questions regarding how I have responded to various situations in prior work experiences. She also explained how awesome Noom is, and helped give me a feel of what it is like to work for Noom. It actually took a week to hear back, and was informed I was on the waitlist. Thankfully I wasn't on the waitlist too long before being informed on an opening. At that point I filled out an interest form, and received an acceptance letter. It was a smooth sailing experience, and I look forward to starting next month. :)

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you worked together as a team to accomplish a task?
The interview process was straight forward. It was approximately three steps to the process. I had a virtual interview. Then, I was asked to complete an assessment and finally a mock coaching session.

Complete a mock coaching session within a google doc.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Noom (Columbia, SC) in Oct 2021
Interview
Overall the interview process was fairly reasonable. The hardest part was the case study where we had to pretend to coach a difficult client. I didn't find the overall process to be too intense.
Instructions were clear and communication was great during interview process. Four step process that is explained in all of the other reviews. I had a pleasant interview experience and felt everything was fair. They accept to a waitlist, which I thought would be no more than 3 months. However, I have been on a waitlist for about 9 months so far. Pretty frustrating.
