The first stage of the interview process was a chat with a Lead Developer. It was a general discussion, not technical, but there were some questions about my experience and how I’ve handled certain situations in the past. We also talked about the second stage, which was supposed to be a pair programming exercise. The role sounded really promising, and I was looking forward to moving ahead.
Unfortunately, I was completely ghosted after that. I followed up with a few emails to the hiring team but didn’t get any response. It was disappointing because the role seemed like a great opportunity, and I initially had a positive impression of the company.
I think there’s room for improvement in how they communicate with candidates. Even a quick update to let me know I wasn’t moving forward would have been appreciated.
One technical interview with product owner and developers. I managed to get answers to all my questions related to the project, about used tools and scheduled tasks. Fast response from the Company, good communication.
