Interview
I had a scheduled phone interview and the HR recruiter called 45 minutes late with no apology. When I said I couldn't talk then, can you give me time to get back home in 20 minutes, she very reluctantly agreed to call back. However, she never called back and never apologized for missing the scheduled time. I e-mailed to re-schedule and again she called 50 minutes late and no apology. I never took the call and they never tried to follow up. It gave me a taste for how unprofessional they are and not the kind of company I want to work for. I interviewed with the superior Mount Sinai and NYU.

Question 1
Why I wanted to work there and what experience I could bring to the system.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northwell Health (New Hyde Park, NY) in Jan 2022
Interview
I applied online in early December. Interviewed today , negative experience. I interviewed with both an NP (who was kind), and the doctor who runs the clinic. The doctor blatantly told she does not hire new grads, which left me confused and surprised as my resume clearly states I am a new grad NP. She then told me to look elsewhere to get experience under my belt and started to name hospitals. Very unprofessional and total disrespect to me and my time. The NP offered to forward my resume to other departments that may be looking to hire which I thanked her for. Unfortunately after this experience, I will not take anything that is offered to me at that specific campus. I work for Northwell as an RN and am just taken aback by this.

Interview
It was a lengthy process. There were many people interviewing. Long story short I did not get the job. It is very competitive. You have to come in on your A game and don’t show any signs of weakness.
