I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual in Mar 2011
Interview
Met a recruiter at my University's career fair and gave her my resume. I got a call about a week later from someone saying that they would like to conduct a phone interview. After the phone interview, I was invited to come for a second interview at the office I would be working at. There I was interviewed by another recruiter and another member of the office.
At the conclusion of that interview, I was given a packet containing some work I must complete. After going over the packet about a week later on the phone, I was offered the position.
Throughout the interview process, all the people that I had to deal with seemed very respectful and welcoming.

Interview
Interviews were very easy. Didn't feel like there was any competition. Met with a recruiter, director of growth, and didn't go through with final interview. Needed to fill out referrals sheet and conduct interviews that concluded with asking if they would be interested in my service.

Interview
Teams call with the director of recruiting who was herself a skilled salesperson and had her script memorized to a tee. This was clearly a commission sales job where the candidate would have to use their own connections to generate their own leads. But, the product isn't terrible or outside my wheelhouse so I was interested in continuing with the process. I then failed their outdated "personality test", the type which has been debunked as completely ineffective, so the director of recruiting told me my candidacy was "on pause".

Interview
The interview was preliminary and conducted over zoom. straightforward. They asked about my background, interests, and previous employment. Emphasized the importance of having a strong natural market to sell products to. I was able to ask some questions and engage in conversation, Overall, the interview was basic, but engaging,
