Plusieurs entretiens, en remote et sur place bien que le hiring manager avait deja ses preferences pour un autre candidat. Au final beaucoup de temps investi pour pas grand chose..
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Novartis (Hyderābād) in Nov 2023
Interview
Overall experience was good. They conducted 4 rounds of interview in a single day. Interview process comprised of following rounds: Telephonic, Technical presentation, Team interview, and interview with departmental head. Overall experience was good.

Question 1
How do you see yourself as clinical pharmacokinetic science in next five years?
Let me preface this by saying I'm fine with situational/behavioral interviews, but this one sure was a doozy. The team that interviewed me was clearly coached by the hiring manager to harp on my lack of experience with 1% of the job description, rather than engage me and ask me to further explain any piece of the 99% I fit.
All my interviews were 30 minute blocks and the interviewers asked me questions 29-30 minutes into this time -- therefore I was unable to ask anything. It reeked of "we don't really care about you, nor want you to feel welcome, we just need to see how you do under a manufactured high-stress 30 minutes".
I suspect Novartis believes that just because they're getting 1,000 applications per opening (we're in an employer's market right now as of this posting in 7/2024), they can afford to be Darwinistic in their hiring approach to see who rises. Be advised of this and go in expecting that you'll be put through a ringer, as a result.
