The hiring process was said to consist of application submission, followed by two interviews. I only took part in the first interview for which I was told that only 10 applicants have been called for, out of 100. For the second interview the number had to be cut down to 3-5 interviewees. Overall, the interview did not include any technical, IQ or skills questions; it was rather more behavioral and in a casual format. The second interview would entail some technical questions. The interview itself took about 30min in downtown Toronto, there were two interviewers who had previously filled the position and basically asked questions aimed at checking motivation and attitude. The interviewers themselves did not seem like they had experience with the hiring though because they quickly ran out of questions and wasted about 5 min trying to come up with new ones.
