I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Olympic Controls in Mar 2023
Interview
The company contacted me through a text message. They found my resume online and wanted to conduct an interview. I interviewed within one business day via a Skype chat. They asked approximately twenty questions. Beware of this company because they are fraudulent. They stole money from me and there was no job.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Olympic Controls (North Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2021
Interview
First interview was by the one of the senior project managers through video conferencing. After confirming my education, experience and why I was interested in the company I was able to secure second interview in person on site. The second interview was with the CEO and the same senior staff as before. There were some behaviour interviews questions, a few questions relating to approaches to problem solving and how my goals aligned with the position they were offering. I had asked what stood out about my application that allowed me to secure a second interview. I got the impression that there wasn’t anything particularly impressive about my application only that I met the minimum that they were looking for. To set myself apart I referenced my previous work experience in an unrelated field and highlight my project management experience. I was offered the position a few days later but had to decline due to a competitive offer elsewhere.
