I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Once Dating (London, England) in May 2019
Interview
I was invited to the Once office in London for an in-person interview with the social media manager and marketing manager. They told me they were very impressed with my work and would let me know their decision by Friday or Monday (the interview took place on a Tuesday).
Monday evening came around but I still hadn't heard anything from Once. Two days later, I decided to e-mail to check in on the process - which I am yet to receive a reply on.
Both the social media manager and marketing manager seemed ill-prepared for the interview - they both asked me separately: "Tell me about yourself" and that was it. I felt I had to lead the interview. It came across as if they hadn't read through my work thoroughly before the interview.
Overall: a very unprofessional experience. I think how a company conducts its hiring is reflective of the work culture. When you invite someone in for an interview, it is common courtesy to provide a response.
