I recently interviewed with Onemarketdata in March 2024. The process began with an HR screening call and an assessment, but unfortunately, my experience turned negative during the technical interview with the team leads. The conduct of one team lead was unprofessional, displaying inappropriate laughter, while the other lead showed only marginally better professionalism. Additionally, there were discrepancies between the job requirements outlined by HR and those expected by the interviewers, leading to confusion and frustration. This lack of consistency in expectations highlights areas for improvement in the company's hiring process. Furthermore, throughout the technical interview, I couldn't help but notice certain indications that raised concerns about potential discrimination. For instance, there were instances where certain questions or interactions felt disproportionately challenging or dismissive compared to others. It's essential for companies to ensure fairness and transparency throughout the hiring process, especially in technical evaluations where biases can influence outcomes. Overall, my experience suggests that there is room for improvement in ensuring equal treatment and opportunity, and a more structured approach to technical interviews may be necessary.
