      Software Engineer- QE Platform Interview

      Nov 4, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at OnePay in Oct 2025

      Interview

The first hurdle is a call with Karat, that was pretty easy and pretty well done. While the interviewer was not the most friendly person, all went well. I received a call from a recruiter just 1 hour later to schedule the next part. She was really excited about how well I did. The second part was reviewing an imaginary application ( not going into the details since I had to sign a waiver ) From there it went into just straight up data modeling. The interviewer was nice, but this had literally nothing to do with my daily job if I were accepted. This kind of hazing, 40 mins straight of watching me struggle, makes no sense. I would avoid this company like the plague and I am likely just lucky to have not been selected.
