      Senior Program Manager Interview

      Jul 7, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Waterloo, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at OpenText (Waterloo, ON) in Jun 2021

      Interview

Slow, inefficient, feet dragging unprofessional process that disrespects the candidate. The HR person seemed to be overwhelmed with his work even though tried to sound attentive. I am qualified for the job and passed the first round, but that is when the fun part started. It took 4 weeks to try and schedule a meeting with the hiring manager and not a single slot was found in the calendar. After multiple emails and attempts to coordinate I sent an email to the recruiter and said that I pass as I am not certain I want to be employed by a place that is too busy to find a slot for an interview for what seemed like a time critical role. The cherry on that cake was a generic email I received yesterday advising that unfortunately the position was filled and they wish me best of luck. Disgusting experience.
