      Solutions Consultant Interview

      May 6, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Stockholm, Stockholm
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OpenText (Stockholm, Stockholm) in Apr 2025

      Interview

The process began with a recruiter who reached out and asked relevant questions about my background. The initial interaction was positive, with a professional and energetic tone. The second stage involved an interview with the hiring manager, which was a different experience—he seemed disengaged and difficult to schedule with, giving the impression that I was the one chasing the opportunity. After a cold rejection email, I followed up and asked for feedback but never received a clear response. The lack of communication and accountability felt unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company culture. Based on this experience, I will not apply to OpenText again.

      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at OpenText in Mar 2025

      Interview

First interview was with HR, they did not discuss the role, only asked about my background and said the hiring manager would have more details of the role. The second interview was the hiring manager, they were nice, but read from a script and seemed to be checking the boxes. It was question and answer, not really a conversation. The hiring manager had been at the company for a long time so they were out of touch with what it is like to be on both sides of the interview table. It was evident they perceived themselves with power. Not a great quality in a leader. Opentext did not get back to me after two weeks and then automated rejection.
