Good interview. Not too tough. The interviewers were frank about the prospects and they were willing to explain the job role and the associated perks. Overall, really nice company to work in.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Optare
Interview
Following interaction with the external consultant, the interview was a one to one Zoom call. Candidates were all rejected, as the interviewer changed approach and wished to have candidates from a Corporate / Professional Services-type background, rather than Manufacturing (as had initially being sourced). Rejected due to not having the newly-desired prior background - which was clearly evident from the CV and recruiters knowledge prior to interview taking place A time-wasting exercise for all involved.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Optare (Trafford Park, England) in Aug 2016
Interview
seemed like a professional process but lacked accuracy.
interviewer did not know correctly the hourly rate of pay
lots of talk of courses and training to be had but nothing materialised
lots of talk about company forward progression but again seemed like a pipe dream
