I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Optiver (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2019
Interview
The process started with a 2-hour hackerrank test, which was unlike typical algorithm questions and was pretty enjoyable to complete. I then had a 30-minute behavioral phone screen, during which I was asked about my background and my interests in trading. I then attended an on-site interview in Chicago, which consisted of two technical interviews and a review of my hackerrank test. I received my final decision the next business day.

- Behavioral interview, which was really just questions about your resume, but I had a feeling the interviewer was paying attention to how I answered and communicated.
