In person interview with manager over this position. Wanted candidate to come with questions and interest in the business. Wanted to make sure that this person stayed in this position and did not want to move around in the company.
- What are you goals to move up or stay where you are? Is the drive here acceptable? Is $23 an hour enough? Is it ok that we plan to hire someone within a couple of months?

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at OrderUp (Norfolk, VA) in Dec 2016
The manager had a big group meeting, explained the process and how everything works. They told us how being an independent contractor works, clothing requirements (must wear something with the company logo) and areas that are available for delivery.
- What area can you work in?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OrderUp
Interview process moved along fairly quickly, starting with hr/recruiting, followed by a phone conversation and in person interview with the regional manager and then vp of sales. The process started out positive and was seemingly organized. As the interviews progressed it became apparent they were not interested in getting to know me at all and showed very little regard for me as an individual. I was never once asked a question about my personal experiences or what I am seeking in a position. I was told what the next steps would be and then never heard from them again. As a company, the candor in which you present to your candidates is also a reflection of the way you value individuals as an asset to your team. It was clear this is lacking within their organization.
- What is the most important aspect of sales

I had a brief, 30 minute phone interview on a Friday with a corporate recruiter. It was clearly a "vetting" interview, which is normal. As following the trend of the reviews below me, I was told that I would hear back regarding next steps the following Monday or Tuesday. Over a week went by and I sent a follow up email. It took another week and a half to get a response back from HR. They apologized for the delay, and said they would follow up with next steps the following week. Two and a half weeks went by, and I decided to send one more follow up email. I received the same canned response "So sorry for the delay, I will follow up shortly with next steps." That was almost three weeks ago. All in all, the process has been very unorganized and unreliable.
- If you were the top innovator in the company, what idea or innovation would you come up with to set yourself apart from other competition?

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OrderUp (Denver, CO) in Jun 2016
The interview process consisted of multiple phone interviews. I had a current employee referral to get the interview. The interview was average in difficulty. They asked many questions that I felt did not matter to being effective in this role (ie: being a successful Marketing Manager (which I currently am for another company) does not require extensive field marketing or brand ambassador experience).
- What is your field marketing experience?

Anonymous Employee in Nashville, TN
I applied online. I interviewed at OrderUp (Nashville, TN) in Jun 2016
After seeing an online advertisement for a part-time Brand Ambassador position, I e-mailed the Community Marketing Manager to inquire about an interview. We spoke briefly over the phone before meeting in person. She reviewed my resume, asked me a series of straightforward questions about interacting with people and getting people excited about their Food Delivery service, and offered me the job moments later.
- Do you have trouble approaching people or initiating conversation?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Syracuse, NY
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at OrderUp (Syracuse, NY) in Apr 2016
Intially I had a phone interview with the Employer. He just asked me a few questions related to my Resume. The interview was just for 20-25minutes. Later, the company came to my university to hire more number of people. My interview was good according to what they said, but I don't know the reason for why they rejected me. Since they did not mention any reason. The overall interview was pretty simple and a friendly conversation.
- Why did you choose Construction Management?
- What is the difference between Project engineer and a field Engineer?

Just a phone interview. I came into the office to basically accept the offer and meet everyone/get a feel for the office and team. It was a simply. fun process and everyone at the office was young, and fun. Easy job, not sure if that location is still open which is sad.
- What do you do for fun?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Pittsburgh, PA
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OrderUp (Pittsburgh, PA) in Feb 2016
2 Phone interviews: 1 with HR rep about 30 minutes, 1 with Operations Manager about 45 minutes. 1 in-person interview with the general manager of the zone. Also had to do an interview project. Biggest con when interviewing was their timeline. Everytime they said some would get back to me by Monday, they didn't call until Friday. Ended up offering me a job in another city, I told them if I could WFH part time and commute part time I would be interested. The HR guy told me he would definitely call me back tomorrow after speaking to the manager, never heard from him. Emailed after 3 days, never heard back.
- How comfortable are you with change?

The hiring and interview process went extremely smoothly. My first interview was a remote local with a manger and within a week we were making arrangements for a start date.
