In my product management interview, they really focused on a few key areas. First, they asked about my product sense and strategy, like how I’d improve an existing product or prioritize features. Then, there were some execution and analytical thinking questions, where I had to talk about measuring success and making trade-offs. They also wanted to gauge my technical understanding, so I had to explain concepts like how an API works in simple terms.
Beyond that, they asked behavioral questions to understand how I work with teams, handle challenges, and influence without authority. One of the bigger parts was a case study or whiteboarding exercise, where I had to break down a real-world product problem and walk them through my thought process. Overall, it was a mix of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
