I was referred by a recruitment agent and invited for a site interview. The interview was with two people: the line manager, who was very strict and asked direct technical questions about PFD, HACCP, and site preferences, and another team member who showed me the warehouse—this person was very friendly and approachable. The role is for a laborer position, mainly involving data entry, but it requires standing for long hours in cold storage, as the computers are located there, but good pay rate $41.11. I felt the line manager was unusually tough for this type of role, though recruitment seems to continue positively for several weeks Overall, the interview questions were focused and easier to answer if well-prepared, but I wasn’t fully ready.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at PFD Food Services (Bayswater) in Mar 2017
Interview
I applied through an agency called Programmed, they did the interview process and the hiring process. You are required to do some fitness test to see if youre physically able to do the job. My interviewer made me feel comfortable.

Question 1
Tell us a time when you have encountered a hazard and what did you do about it?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PFD Food Services (Melbourne)
Interview
A couple of stages.
First stage is a meet and fit culture interview
If successful you will be given a take home code project (this is not for production so its not a way for the company to get free work)
1-2 weeks to complete.
If you manage to present a working project big plus. Lots of grads don't get something working in front of the company (Projects are pretty broad in scope so complexity is down to you)
You will be interviewed by generally 3 people when you present your project.
They will ask you why you chose certain tech over other tech, why you thought X, etc. Pretty standard stuff.
Interviewers are pretty nice and relaxed people but they know their stuff
