I applied online. I interviewed at PSB Insights (Washington, DC) in Nov 2022

Interview

Although the interview process was lengthy, it felt unrushed to me. In the end, I actually thanked my interviewer for a really great candidate journey. Throughout, she was clear and in touch.

I applied online. I interviewed at PSB Insights in Oct 2021

Interview

Had two rounds of interviews. First was a short Zoom meeting with the HR, who will assign you an exercise to test your skills after the screening. Then you have like a week to complete the test (create a 5-7-slide PowerPoint) and send it back to the HR. If they like your PPT they will arrange a second round interview with you and a few senior staffers at the company. In my case, I was interviewed by four at the same time. The entire process literally took forever, and I wouldn't recommend at all that you reach out because that simply doesn't work. Be prepared to drag yourself into an at least three-month-long battle starting from the day you receive a phone/Zoom screening request. That said, the interviewers were all very nice and absolutely pleasant to talk to. Some questions I got asked were much tougher than normal behavioral ones, but that's because they really wanted to dig into your personal and professional experience to learn more about who you are as a person.

Interview Questions
  • -Why are you interested in this role? -What are your strengths/weaknesses? -The rest are entirely dependent on your past experiences. If you have volunteer experience, you will be asked of it; if you created your own organization in college/high school, get ready to talk in-depth about that.

I applied online. I interviewed at PSB Insights in Oct 2020

Interview

It started with a screening call (20 min) with HR. Then I was asked to do a written assignment (analyze survey data and make a PowerPoint report) that was discussed in a interview with two managers (1 hour interview). The interview was heavily focused on my current job. I received a decision about two and half weeks after the interview (no offer), and they did not provide any feedback when I asked for it.

Interview Questions
  • Questions were almost all about my current job (how projects are conducted, timelines, project types, etc.).
  • I was asked to give a short 15 min presentation based on the written assignment.

Two interviews (one on site) and an assessment. I went through the entire interview process, even traveling to the office to meet several team members. However, I never heard back, and the recruiter never followed up even when they said they would. A bit disappointing and unprofessional.

Interview Questions
  • I was asked to review the assessment presentation I had created prior to the interview

Got an invitation to come in for an interview with 2 people soon after applying, then asked to come in for a second interview with 2 more senior staff who were very friendly and easy to talk to.

Interview Questions
  • General questions about my experience with qualitative and quantitative research, and what I enjoyed about it; career aspirations; how I thought my colleagues would describe me. It was quite conversational, with follow-ups to whatever I happen to have said previously.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PSB Insights

Interview

I applied at the Bellevue office in Washington. It started with a phone interview and then they send you a sample data set for you to solve and create a powerpoint presentation on it. I heard back pretty fast and impressing high interest in what I did. Went to in person interview and met with three different people asking behavioral questions and asked to give the presentation as it was to a client. They were so thoroughly impressed throughout the interviews. HR associate asked for references and even told them how they were going to hire me. The HR associate i was in contact with kept leading me on until I found out he quit the position. Contacted project managers and interviewers and never heard back. All around very unprofessional and their processes seems incredibly disorganized.

I’ve been trying to practice the star method for behavioral questions but, I can’t stay on track with my stories. I typically never had anything really happen to me so I have to make up stories. How do you remember what stories correlate with what questions they ask. Better yet HOW do you guys remember what to say lol
